Belarus's Finished Steel Output Declined by 2.4% Year on Year to 1.27miliion Tons in H1

According to National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Belarus’s finished steel output declined by 2.4% year on year to 1.27miliion tons in the first half of this year.

Among them, steel production totaled 1.42 million tons, falling by 0.2% year on year; non-alloy carbon steel totaled 221,200 tons, rising by 2.2%; stainless and others totaled 399 tons, dropping by 27.6%; wire products totaled 44,500 tons, declining by 11.6%, all compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.

Besides, Belarus’s output of steels and metals totaled US$2.3 billion in the first half of 2013, rising by 2.4% year on year.
