Mainland China Imported 110,180 Tonnes of Fuel Oil From Taiwan in November

Mainland China imported 110,180 tonnes of fuel oil from Taiwan in November, up by 176% month on month, according to data from the General Administration of Customs.

Taiwan CPC exported extra low-sulphur straight-run fuel oil because of glitches with its residue fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC), said a market source. All the three November cargoes from the company were sold to China.

Taiwan CPC probably stopped fuel oil exports after restarting the RFCC in December.

Russia, Venezuela, South Korea and Malaysia were the four biggest fuel oil suppliers for China in November, the data showed.
