LycoRed, an Israel-based supplier to dietary supplement and functional food & beverage industries, has announced that its new premix plant in Changzhou, China is fully approved.
The new plant will manufacture processors for infant formula, beverages, baby food and other food products in Asia Pacific.
LycoRed sales and marketing vice president Ilan Ron told foodingredientsfirst.com that the company recently received their Halal MUI certificate for its new vitamins D3, E and K1 formulations.
"These vitamins are made with a proprietary spray-drying process to ensure completely solubility of vitamins. They can be used in premixes for infant formula and baby food, as well as in dry blends for beverages," Ron said.
LycoRed is a science-based company with regional facilities in the US, Europe, Israel and Asia.
