Order visibility is clear to May and monthly revenues are expected to reach a record high in the second quarter, according to Pang-Yen Liu, general manager of Production Business Group at Everlight.
Everlight reported first-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$4.948 billion (US$165 million), representing an on-year increase of 17.8%. However, the figure showed a 4% decrease on-quarter. Everlight noted that capacity utilization rate has been around 70-80%.
Everlight saw March consolidated revenues reach NT$1.85 billion. Due to continuous growth in the LED TV market, market observers believe Everlight will see second-quarter revenues post a sequential increase above 10%.
