Economic Times reported that Chattisgarh today invited TATA Motors to explore the possibilities in setting up a plant in the state.
Mr Raman Singh CM of Chattisgarh on the sidelines of panIIT conference said that "I met Ravi Kant today. I invited him to explore whether TATA Motors is able to set up a plant in our state. We have the necessary infrastructure."
Mr Ravi Kant, the former managing director of TATA Motors, was now the company's vice chairman.
