England-based cheese supplier Bradbury's has installed Packaging Automation's (PA) tray sealing machinery to pack cheese.
The PA182 tray sealing machinery model is a rotary table is flexible and portable system suitable for sealing all sizes of trays and pots, and can be moved from one production line to another.
Bradbury's Andrew Varley said the company worked with PA in the early stages in developing the packaging.
"Lots of work was carried out in their test kitchen by their Seal Technologist and we found their help and support really useful," Varley added.
"To cope with the demand for the cheese boards we will soon be looking for new machinery and won't hesitate in returning to PA."
The new machine has a sealing capacity of about 40 packs per minute.
