The Book Still Sits in a Prominent Position in Many Formulators Libraries

New Naturals Handbook

Many cosmetic manufacturers used the CLR ‘black book’ in the 1970s and 80s as a reference for formulations and ingredient selection. The book still sits in a prominent position in many formulators libraries.

The question is often asked when will a new book be printed? In these days of fast changing regulation and product usage it is impractical to print a book every time a change is made to the product range. The same kind of product and formulation information can be found easily on the CLR-Berlin website www.clr-berlin.com or in other media forms. To give a lasting, useful work of reference, CLR has teamed up with technical consultant, Tony Dweck, to print his Handbook of Natural Ingredients as a gift for customers. The book was available before only as an e-book, but the physical format was launched at this year’s in-cosmetics.
