Flexible packaging manufacturer Glenroy has provided packaging material for a nutrient and calorie-dense protein gel, HopeGel.
The orange-flavored gel has been developed with proteins, fats, and amino acids that can be sipped directly from a squeezable pouch or fed to children through feeding tubes.
According to the US-based packaging firm, as the HopeGel is packed using flexible packaging it can be easily transportable, while the new shape makes it easy for children to consume the product from the pouch.
Glenroy regional manager Ken Murtagh said, "It has been an honor to provide packaging material for this life-saving product."
The company manufactures packaging film and pre-formed pouches for various industries, including personal care, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, automotive and household products.
