The Particleboard Line Damaged by Deflagration on 11 April 2012 at French Company Darbo

The particleboard line damaged by deflagration on 11 April 2012 at the French company Darbo, which is owned by Sonae Industria, resumed operations in mid-May following completion of repair work. The roughly four-week shutdown of raw board production was partially compensated for by deliveries from other Sonae Industrie plants, in particular from the plant of Auxerre of Isoroy and the Horn-Bad Meinberg plant of Glunz. Melamine lamination continued during the shutdown of the particleboard line. Re-commissioning of the particleboard line had been delayed slightly as a result of a second expertise required by approval authorities. Source: euwid-wood-products
