CSC Is Going to Acquire 19% Share in a Ferroalloy Project Located in Malaysia

It’s reported that China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steel maker in Taiwan is going to invest US$62.46 million to acquire 19% share in a ferroalloy project located in Malaysia. The project will produce ferromanganese of 169,000 tons annual capacity and it would give CSC access to 30 to 32 thousand tons output for steelmaking. The said project is planned to start production in 2016.
