Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC) is set to showcase Intelligent Bar Sensor – 100 (IBS-100) system at this year’s LabelExpo Europe event in Belgium.
The event will take place from 25 to 28 September.
IBS-100 is a product resulted from the acquisition of the assets of Intro International by QIPC. It has been developed for full inspection and can be infused with existing register and density measurement and control software from QIPC.
The system enables to inspect image-based density control, colour register control and perforation and cut-off control or side-lay control of the complete image.
The acquisition of Intro International allowed QIPC to expand its presence in the packaging and digital printing market.
IBS-100 enables to detect every tiny error and ink spatter, in addition to recognising small text and barcodes.
With the push of the button, every printed page will be showcased on the screen in its entirety and operator can zoom in areas that need attention.
The system has web-viewing option, which allows to inspect specific copy in detail.
