The German parent of KraussMaffei Corp., Florence, Ky., recently introduced two new models of all-electric presses. A new size in the EX series is 200 metric tons. These machines extend from 50 to 240 m. T. And are high-speed models designed for clean operation in medical and packaging applications. They have fully enclosed drives, water-cooled motors, toggle clamp, and direct-drive injection unit. Also new is a 350-m. T.
