According to the data from National Statistics, China's cereal output of this year reaches 607.099 million tons, 5.16 millions more than 2013, up 0.9%. The grain output was 557.269 million tons, up 0.8% on 2013.
Cereal output has achieved a continuous growth and break the rule of two surpluses with one shortage.It will lay the foundation for the sustained and healthy development of China's economy. Preferential policies, scientific support and water conservancy construction have become three pillars for good harvests.
