The Workshop will head north next year.
The Toy & Game Inventors Workshop will head north in 2015 – with a new venue in the Midlands.
The Workshop made its debut this September, providing inventors, would-be inventors and students with a day of educational conference sessions, networking opportunities and the chance to actually pitch their ideas to representatives from some of the UK’s leading toy companies.
After its successful launch – and the subsequent introduction of the Toy & Game Inventors Weekly Bulletin – the Workshop has been scheduled to take place on Monday, September 22nd at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa in Northampton.
The day will continue the same successful format as this year, with a conference in the morning and pitching sessions in the afternoon. However, there will be more opportunities for networking.
“We’re delighted with the reaction we had to the first Toy & Game Inventors Workshop,” said ToyNews publisher Lisa Carter.
“We’ve even seen our first success story, with the Skinny Sketcher line being signed up by Asobi, which was brilliant news.
“We’ve had great feedback elsewhere, both from the inventors and the toy companies who attended. And we’ve also had suggestions on how to improve the event for 2015, which we are incorporating into next year’s event.”
