UPM Raflatac has introduced a new permanent adhesive RP 30 XTRA for labeling wines, spirits and beverages.
According to the company, RP 30 XTRA holds good adhesion on glass, which will enable smaller label sizes and more complex label shapes. It will also offer flexibility to replace label on bottle shoulders and necks as part of the overall product design.
RP 30 XTRA is resistant to humid conditions and water, and reduces label creasing when bottles are subject to cold storage and temperature variations on transportation.
UPM Raflatac beverage, wine and spirits business segment manager Harry Havenga said that RP 30 XTRA showcases total performance and new branding potential in a full range of cold and wet conditions.
"For labelling all wines, spirits and beverages, this adhesive truly pushes the boundaries for product design and creating a lasting bond with consumers," Havenga added.
