Sarees Have Made It to The Five Top Items Bought by Ebay Shoppers Living in The US

Sarees, the traditional wear of Indian women, have surprisingly made it to the five top items bought by ebay shoppers living in the US, according to the popular e-commerce site’s latest Census 2012 report – ebay India census 2012.
 
Sarees, silk fabrics and bed sheets are the most common items bought by Americans, who occupy the foremost position in terms of the number of consumers on ebay, according to the online portal’s research findings.
 
According to the ebay study, which is based on an annual analysis of its online buying and selling transactions across the globe, dresses are the fifth most saleable product in the UK and quilt covers are one of the most favoured items bought by Australians on the web portal.
 
Men’s jackets are second among the five top products sold in China, while Canadians prefer buying salwar kameez sets on the website, as per the findings.
 
Other than the US, UK, Australia, China and Canada, the countries which occupy the first five positions on ebay list, Germany, France, Russia, Hong Kong and Italy have respectively grabbed the next sixth to tenth positions in the study report.
