Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) announced that it has been granted the Chinese National Standards (CNS) Mark certificates for four steel standards, including rolled steels for general structure, rolled steels for welded structure, carbon steels for machine structural use, and rolled steels for building structure.
According to CSC, using CSC's steels with CNS Mark, manufacturers or institutions for public projects are exempted from the retest for the materials used and this will reduce costs and shorten the process time.
CSC produces a wide variety of steel products, such as steel plates, steel wire rods & bars, hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils, coated coils and electrical steel coils, covering more than 50% of the domestic market demand.
