US insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J Gallagher & Co has acquired Minnesota's Unison, an employee benefits insurance broker in an undisclosed deal.
Following the closing of transaction, William Ziebell, north central regional executive vice president of Gallagher's employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations will lead the Unison team, which will continue to operate from their Minnetonka location.
Arthur J Gallagher & Co chairman, president and CEO J Patrick Gallagher, Jr said the employee benefits broker remains consistently focused on its clients and community through quality sales and service culture.
"In addition, their geographic presence and solid industry relationships will be a terrific complement to our employee benefits brokerage and consulting operation," Gallagher, Jr added.
Established in 1980, Unison provides group employee benefits products and consulting services, including health and welfare, business insurance, financial planning and executive to their clients mainly in the North Central US.
Arthur trades in 17 geographies and delivers client-service capabilities in more than 110 nations around the globe through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
