According to the reports from foreign media, europium nanocrystals could become the missing ingredient lowering the production costs and enhancing the energy-efficient of white LED.
Reported that Scientists Budai is working with a group of scientists from the University of Georgia and Oak Ridge and Argonne National Laboratory to study a set of new crystals, this kind of crystals can produce right mix color white LED and other purposes require. Experts from the University of Georgia consider the nanocrystals made of europium oxide and aluminum oxide powder as raw material, because the unique properties of rare earth elements europium are suitable to be dopant and additives, it has good optical properties.
