London based Specialty Lines broker R K Harrison Insurance Brokers and Chile's Conosur Corredores de Seguros Y Reaseguros (Conosur) have inked an agreement to collaborate on all new insurance and reinsurance business that emerge from Chile.
The Chilean broker said the deal will enable its clients in the country to enter into international insurance markets and cater a number of specialist insurance and reinsurance products.
Conosur Insurance Brokers managing director Alberto Covarrubias stated, "There is strong momentum behind economic growth in Latin America generally and Chile in particular, so our clients increasingly compete in a global arena."

Chile, the first Latin American country to join the OECD in May 2010, has a high per capita GDP and focuses on developing global trade links.
