Allianz Global Assistance and RacePartner have jointly launched Registration Protector, a race registration insurance aimed to protect registration fees for event organizers and participants.
RacePartner co-founder Robert Anderson said that the new insurance offers back-up plan for clients' participants when they need to cancel a race for a covered reason.
"Registration Protector solves an important customer service issue for our clients by providing reimbursement for covered cancellations without having to manage or pay for those reimbursements themselves," Anderson added.
Available to racers through RacePartner's customizable race registration experience, Registration Protector will serve as option to all racers who sign up for events in advance using RacePartner's registration platform.
"Our goal is to make the online registration portion less frustrating for our clients."
Registration Protector includes Allianz Global Assistance's 24/7 service and assistance and will refund 100% of insured registration costs.
