Taiwan-based LED packaging house Unity Opto has reported 2012 consolidated revenues of NT$7.74 billion (US$259 million), showing a sequential increase of 33%, and net profits went up by 100% on year to NT$77 million. The firm plans to deal out 2012 cash dividend of NT$0.20.
Unity Opto expects shipments in the first half of 2013 to exceed the total shipments in 2012.
The firm reported first-quarter 2013 net profits of NT$91 million and the accumulated revenues for the first five months of 2013 reached NT$3.12 billion, showing a 55% growth compared to the same period in 2012.
