South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors has introduced the cee'd GT, a five-door version of the pro_cee'd GT, in the UK.
The cee'd GT is a European-designed, European-engineered and European-built mid-sized hatchback, and is available in two versions - the cee'd GT and the cee'd GT Tech - in the country.
Both versions are equipped with a turbocharged 1.6L direct-injection petrol engine offering 201 BHP and 265Nm of torque. The vehicle has a top speed of 143mph with an acceleration of 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds.
With a he combined fuel consumption of 38.2mpg, the new hatchback model can emit CO2 at a rate of 171g/km.
Improved features in the vehicle include increased damper rebound and compression rates; stiffer springs and bushes; a larger rear anti-roll bar; and 18-inch alloy wheels.
In September 2013, the automobile manufacturer also announced that it will introduce its new flagship sedan, Kia Quoris, for sale in the US in the third quarter of 2014.
