United States of America: CPSC Recalls Elephantito's Hazardous Girl's Pajamas

The U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC),in cooperation with the firm named below,announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product.Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Manufacturer:Catalogo S.A.C.,of Lima,Peru

Hazard:The pajamas fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear,posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Incidents/Injuries:None reported.

This recall involves children's woven cotton pajama sets with style number JP 12 FL.The style number is printed on the garment's hang tag.The sets are printed with a small pink flower and green leaf pattern with a short-sleeve,five-button shirt and a matching pair of shorts.The sets were sold in girl's sizes 1 to 8.

Sold at:Children's boutiques and specialty stores nationwide and online from August 2008 to September 2011 for between$30 and$45.

Remedy:Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas from children and stop using them.Consumers can return the pajamas to the place of purchase for a full refund,exchange or store credit.
