US-based snack producer Nugo Nutrition has announced that all the five flavors of its Dark chocolate coated protein bars are now certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO).
The products contain 10g of protein, natural ingredients and anti-oxidant rich dark chocolate. The product is not made using high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, hydrogenated oils, or fake dark chocolate made from vegetable fats, said the company.
The product is classified into five different flavors, which include NuGo Dark Mint Chocolate Chip, NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel, NuGo Mocha Chocolate, NuGo Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Cup.
The NuGo Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Mocha Chocolate are the two newest flavors to be certified gluten-free.
NuGo produces13 certified gluten-free real dark chocolate coated protein bars. NuGO Slim, the low sugar bar, has five flavors, including two new non-dairy vegan flavors - Espresso and Crunchy Peanut Butter. NuGO FREE is vegan and soy-free and available in three flavors - Dark Chocolate Crunch, Dark Chocolate Trail Mix, and Carrot Cake.
