Micromedical Implantes has entered into a new three year agreement to distribute Misonix's SonicOne Ultrasonic Wound Cleansing and Debridement system throughout Brazil.
Misonix said the annual minimum purchase requirements are also included in the agreement.
The SonicOne is a ultrasonic wound care system which provides tissue specific debridement and cleansing for removing devitalized tissue and fibrin deposits, while sparing viable cellular structures.
Misonix president and chief executive officer Michael McManus said, "We believe there are great opportunities in Brazil for Misonix to become established as a leading surgical instruments provider."
Misonix manufactures therapeutic ultrasonic products for spine surgery, skull-based surgery, neurosurgery, wound debridement, cosmetic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and other surgical applications.
