United Colors of Benetton Group, a global fashion brand based in Italy, has added three new top managers to its management team for expanding its key brands and retail growth.
Marco Messini will join as the new chief sales and distribution officer, John Mollanger will join as the new chief product and marketing officer, and Piero Maldini will join as the new retail director of United Colors of Benetton. All the three new recruits have great experience in the world of franchising, wholesale, and retail to help support the group’s management team.
Messini has a decade’s worth of experience in VF Corporation, where he held the role of vice president of EMEA franchising for all of the group’s brands. He also served as general manager EMEA for Timberland and as the sales director for Diadora and Invicta.
Mollanger has worked as the head of product and marketing for Asics in Japan. He also held similar positions in Nike and Puma in the US and Europe. He has widespread knowledge of consumers and major international markets.
Piero Maldini has served as the chief operating officer of Holding dei Giochi, the retail arm of Giochi Preziosi group, where he strengthened the group’s leadership in Europe.
