OptiTex announced the key management appointments of Ziv Leshem as VP Marketing & Business Development and Ofer Asif as VP Asia & Emerging Markets, as part of the recruitment drive announced earlier this year, as a response to strong global demand and market expansion.
Mr. Leshem has extensive marketing, business development, strategy and consulting experience in the high-tech world. He joined OptiTex from Amdocs, where he was in charge of innovation scouting and venture investments. Ziv previously managed marketing and business development for several software companies (GigaSpaces, InfoCyclone and Nareo), and was also a manager at Accenture strategic services in London. Ziv holds an LL.B. (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainbleau. In his new role, Mr. Leshem will be leading the company's marketing and business development efforts around the globe.
Mr. Asif has broad sales & business management experience in the high-tech world. He was responsible for large scale sales, held a variety of management and field roles, and has vast experience with establishing and managing direct and indirect sales in leading high-tech companies, such as Comverse, Qmarkets and SkyVision. Mr. Asif is a Board member at Qmarkets.net and holds an MBA and a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. In his new role, Mr. Asif will lead the growth of OptiTex's business in Asia & Emerging Markets.
