It’s reported that Korean Hyundai Steel planned to raise its H beam prices by KRW10, 000/ton in July as its production decreased due to power limit in summer and annual maintenance.
It’s learned that Hyundai Steel previously planned to raise its H beam prices by KRW30,000~KRW40,000/ton in June but it finally only increased the prices by KRW10,000~KRW20,000/ton due to soft demand.
Besides, stable scrap prices may also support steelmakers to raise prices.
