A US-China Joint Venture to Facilitate Heat Transfer Innovations to Better Serve Brands

A US-China joint venture will facilitate heat transfer innovations in order to better serve leading global apparel brands. The joint venture located in Shenzhou will serve as supplier for garment embellishments and labels.

The joint venture is between Avery Dennison RBIS, a leader in apparel industry branding, labeling, packaging, embellishments and RFID solutions and Ningbo Shenzhou Knitting Co., Ltd. (Shenzhou), the largest vertically integrated knitwear manufacturer in China.

Embellishments such as heat transfers are particularly important to performance wear companies, who expect increased design flexibility and consumer comfort without compromising garment function.

The Avery Dennison RBIS - Shenzhou joint venture will provide customers with decorative transfers, printed and woven labels, graphic tags and tickets, and sustainable packaging that enhance product presentation and in turn, can help to increase the consumer’s intent to purchase, a statement said.
