Children's toy retailer Letterbox is growing its eco-friendly product portfolio later this year after a strong response from customers.
The firm has stocked a range of eco-friendly wooden toys since 2011, but this is due to expand for autumn/winter.
Current products include the Noah's Ark Shape Sorter (pictured), which is from EverEarth and is made from recycled materials, as well as helping to develop children's basic cognitive and problem solving abilities.
Also available from EverEarth is Ramp Racer, which helps to improve hand-eye coordination and is manufactured using wood from renewable FSC-certified sources, eco-friendly water-based paints and packaged using recycled materials.
"Since launching, our eco-friendly range has been very well received, having sparked a great response from our environmentally conscious customers," said Sandra Selwyn, buying manager at Letterbox. "Because both we and our customers are passionate about sustainability, we're currently working with our supply base to extend the range and develop new eco products for September this year."
