Federal Manufacturing is all set to unveil its new Extended-Shelf-Life (ESL) filler with a ten-station pick and place capping turret at Pack Expo 2012, McCormick Place in Chicago from 28-31 October.
The new 30-valve net-weight (non-contact) filler can be equipped with hot water sanitizing for juice or drinking yogurt applications or steam sterilization.
Federal will also introduce a new model filler/capper, built for a picante salsa hot sauce application. The system features a gravity/pressure 42-valve model filler that can run 5.0l through 350ml PET bottles.
The filler presents an automated clean-in-place capability with bi-directional flow of cleaning solution through the filling valves and all product contact surfaces.
A five-station free-standing pick and place capping machine featuring all stainless steel spindles and hysteresis heads and variable speed drive will also be exhibited in the event.
Designed to cap round industrial-style gallon bottles, the capper can be electronically synchronized to the operation of a filler.
