MagneMotion, a provider of products and transport systems based on Linear Synchronous Motor (LSM) technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, whereby Siemens has acquired an exclusive license for the use of MagneMotion’s advanced LSM products and technologies in the field of in-vitro diagnostics.
This right will extend to MagneMotion's current products as well as market requirements for future LSM products and customer applications within the IVD industry.
MagneMotion will continue to service its existing IVD customers and, on a selective basis, work with Siemens on near-term market opportunities.
MagneMotion president and CEO Todd Webber noted the company is delighted to form a strategic relationship with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.

Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Chemistry, Immunoassay, Automation and Diagnostics IT business unit CEO Dave Hickey noted the company is continuously expanding its ability to bring leading-edge technology to the clinical laboratory, and a core element of this is to establish strategic partnerships with key innovators, including those outside the traditional IVD industry like MagneMotion.
