MST Is Hiking Base Prices for Its Carbon

MST Seamless Tube and Pipe, formerly Michigan Seamless Tube, is hiking base prices for its carbon, alloy and heat-treated seamless mechanical tubing, effective with September 1 shipments. Carbon tubing base prices will increase by $0.06/lb, or $120/short ton, Steel Business Briefing learns. Alloy and heat-treated material will increase by $0.08/lb, or $160/s.t. Michigan reports that the increase is due primarily to rising raw material costs. Source: steelbb.com
