US based automobile manufacturer General Motors has launched its premium hatchback Chevrolet Sail U-VA in India.
The petrol variant of the new Sail U-VA will be powered by a 1.2 litre engine, while the diesel variant will come equipped with a 1.3 litre 'Smartech' diesel engine.
According to the company, the diesel variant is expected to deliver a mileage of 22.1km/l, while the petrol-variant will deliver a mileage of 18.2km/l.
Chevrolet Sail U-VA is expected to be avilable in seven exterior colours including, Super Red, Switchblade Silver, Summit White, Caviar Black, Linen Beige, Sandrift Grey and Misty Lake.
Saftey features of the new car, which is expected to come in four versions, will include an engine immobilizer, central door locking and speed-sensitive automatic door locks.
Three of the four versions will feature air bags, while the top two versions will come with anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution.
