Hape ambassadors donated 100 sets of 30th anniversary building blocks to 40 families with autistic children in Beijing.
Hape has begun its donation ceremonies in Nepal and China as part of the firm's 30th anniversary year-long We Care We Share charity campaign.
Between March 27th and 31st, Hape's We Care We Share ambassadors visited 150 children from four kindergartens in Kathmandu and the Himalayan Mountains that have suffered huge damage in the earthquake. The children from these schools met the Hape ambassadors to receive toys.
On March 28th Hape ambassadors held a donation ceremony in Beijing where they donated 100 sets of 30th anniversary building blocks to 40 families with autistic children from Daxing Autistic Rehabilitation centre.
They also visited the Beilin Sunshine School in Ningbo where more toys were donated.
Further donation ceremonies are planned for Syrian children living in Berlin, a children’s hospital in Afghanistan and children’s centres in Zimbabwe towards the end of April and into May and June.
Each anniversary special edition building block has a serial number on the product which can be entered into the Hape website to track where the donated toy has been sent.
