The Indian fashion and casual lifestyle products selling e-commerce site Myntra has recently launched a new mobile phone shopping app for iPhone users.
Aiming to cater to the growing fashion and lifestyle needs of the consumers and to give them a more personalised shopping experience, the light-weight app would help the shoppers to browse through the portal’s vast offering of over 70,000 products with ease.
The newly launched interactive shopping experience, which has already topped in the ranking of all lifestyle apps currently available on Apple iStore, will take the consumer engagement to a new degree by customizing and filtering the display of products.
While speaking on the launch, the Chief Product and Technology Officer of Myntra, Mr. Shamik Sharma, said “We're always looking for ways to make life easier for customers. The iPhone app will empower customers with an intelligent product discovery experience which enhances ease of purchase.”
Over 40 percent of Myntra’s orders now happen on mobile devices, a year back it was less than 10 percent. This increased use of digital devices is ushering in a new era of ‘visual commerce’ that’s about to revolutionise the world of shopping.
Founded in 2007, headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, Myntra offers products from over 700 leading brands including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Levis, Arrow, CAT, Timberland, FabIndia and Biba. The platform receives over 50 million visits every month and services over 9,000 pin codes across the country. (PB)
