Spartan Motors Has Appointed Dennis Schneider as The New President of Er Business

Spartan Motors has appointed Dennis Schneider as the new president of the company's Emergency Response (ER) business.

Schneider has a longtime manufacturing, operations and logistics executive with experience in the US and abroad, and in his new role, he will be be located at the company's headquarters in Charlotte, Michigan.

He joined the company in January as vice president of Crimson Fire and handled the business that designs, engineers and manufactures emergency response vehicles and cab/chassis in both the North American and global emergency response markets.

Spartan Motors chief operating officer Tom Gorman said since joining the company at the start of the year, Schneider has had an immediate impact on the company, focusing on its corporate goals of speed, innovation and globalization while maintaining our customer-centric philosophy.

"Schneider has been selected to fill an important post; Emergency Response is our second-largest market, accounting for over one-third of company sales," said Gorman.

Previously, Schneider served as chief operating officer at Doosan Infracore, where he was responsible for global operations, including manufacturing, lean six sigma, supply chain, demand planning, quality, sourcing, logistics, advance planning, current product engineering and customer service.
