MP Global Products’ ThermoPod Division has unveiled new ThermoPod super insulated temperature control mailers, which provide thermal protection for extended time frame shipping of spices, spice mixes and herbs.
According to the US-based company, the ThermoPod mailer envelopes are made with components that break down in nature over time and serve as green alternatives to plastic bubble envelopes and foam coolers.
The mailers are available in three standard sizes including 9" x 11", 12" x 14", and 14" x 18". Their outer surface is a waterproof poly film while the inner surface is a perforated poly film and an ultra-insulating padding is inserted between the films.
Made from a combination of cotton and wool recycled textile fibers, the insulation also includes an anti-microbial additive, which is EPA-approved, for prevention of cross-contamination and absorbent fibers for containment of accidental spills or unwanted condensation from melting gel packs.
The bottom gusseted design of the ThermoPod mailers uses a smaller dimensional weight over traditional plastic bubble envelopes and allows for increased content space.
