a Trio of Toy Companies Are on The Hunt for Distribution Partners

A trio of toy companies are on the hunt for distribution partners to help get their products in more stores.

UK-based Rainbow Colours, which uses coloured guitar strings, books and more to teach kids how to learn an instrument in a fun way, is hoping to branch out worldwide with the help of distributors, while app toy specialist Seebo and R/C firm Weccan hope to enter the UK market.

Rainbow Colours’ Chris Poole told ToyNews: “Translating our book is easy and we can adapt the nursery rhymes, so there are traditional songs from that particular country.”

Seebo is pushing its Wise Pet plush app toys (pictured), which come to life when a smartphone or tablet is inserted, and its App&Books, which let kids play phone games that relate to an accompanied book.

“Our toys have been very successful in France, Belgium, Scandinavia and The Netherlands, and now we are looking for a partner in the UK for this year,” said Seebo’s sales and marketing director Liran Akavia.
