UK's B&G Products Invests in Another Stand up Pouch Conversation Machine

B&G Products, a UK-based manufacturer of re-usable bags and pouches, has invested in one more stand up pouch conversation machine.

The company is also remodeling its food-standard factory to increase output.

B&G Products is also planning to increase the workforce by 30% over the next three years to meet the demand from the customers.

The company said the investment will allow to facilitate a streamlined manufacturing process, quicker setup times and enhanced workflow at the facility, helping to increase manufacturing capacity.

With these advancements, the facility now can produce an additional 20 million units of flexible packaging per annum.

B&G Products commercial director Peter Ralten said: “The dramatic changes to the factory and massive investment into this brand-new equipment, factory and our workforce is a step to future-proof our business and sends a clear message to our customers, partners and the rest of the packaging industry.

Based in rural Staffordshire, the company is specialized in producing pre-made flexible packaging bags and pouches.

The firm produces cool bags, side weldbags with mini grips and pouches, which will be used by food manufacturers across the UK.

B&G Products supplies its products to customers such as ASDA, Coop, Morrison’s and others.
