Buyer and trade guest registration has opened for the 112th North American International Toy Fair.
The US Toy Fair 2015 is scheduled to take place from Saturday, February 14th to Tuesday, February 17th in New York City.
The Fair is expected to welcome close to 30,000 industry professionals from over 100 countries.
"We are thrilled to report that Toy Fair 2015 is already off to a strong start,” said Marian Bossard, TIA vice president of meetings and events.
"Though attendee registration has been open for less than a week, 2,000 trade guests have already registered for the show, including 1,100 global buyers.”
The marketplace was recently re-named the North American International Toy Fair (it was formerly the American International Toy Fair) as part of a new affiliation agreement between TIA and the Canadian Toy Association.
Under the agreement, CTA and TIA now have a shared membership and a single Toy Fair, rather than hosting separate marketplace events in the United States and in Canada.
"As part of our new partnership, we will be working closely with CTA to provide a high-value Toy Fair experience for Canadian-based members, some of which have been coming to Toy Fair for several years, and others who will be attending for the first time,” added Bossard.
