(China Glass Network) The terminal point of NO.14 line of Beijing Metro has got a special design, the proof of Zhuangguo Village Stop is installed with solar panels. The total installation amount for the proof is 2500 square meters, which can satisfy electricity consumption of the escalator, air conditioning and part of the lighting in the stop. It is also the first time for metro stop to apply solar panel in construction all over the country.
Director of the construction team told the journalist that the proof of the metro stop is wavy and each of the waves is composed by triangle steel structure. "The design is not just for aesthetics, the angle of the solar panels can also be adjusted to fully meet lighting requirements."
