North American supplier of general-line rigid containers, BWAY has launched the new Tri-Seal Gasketless Openhead Plastic Pail Cover that produces a watertight/airtight seal without a gasket.
The new pail cover requires no special capping and is suitable for foods, paints, adhesives, lubricants, building products and consumer, agprofessional.com reported.
The Tri-Seal Cover, which works with standard rigid-plastic pails, serves as a substitute for a standard gasketed cover on filling lines with small adjustments to existing capping equipment.
Molded Tri-Seal Cover design consists of a primary inner plug cork seal, a secondary top flap seal and a tertiary outer stretch seal for security.
The environmentally friendly cover performs better on five-gallon pails compared to a gasketed cover and can be united with BWAY's technology TwinShot pail that provides the ability to add post consumer regrind (PCR) content up to 50%.
