To mark the milestone, the company has also launched a bumper collection of more than 100 new products.
This August, Bigjigs Toys is celebrating its 30th year of trading with new ranges, special promotions and competitions.
In honour of the milestone, the company has launched a bumper collection of more than 100 new products, including additions to the Bigjigs Rail and Bigjigs Baby sub brands.
During their anniversary month, the firm will be organising a series of special promotions and competitions for trade customers, details of which will be published on social media and via email in the coming weeks.
Founded in 1985, Bigjigs founders Liz and Peter Ireland began selling their very first hand cut puzzles and other simple wooden toys at local craft fairs and country shows.
Today, the company occupies 40,000 sq ft of warehousing in Kent and supplies a broad customer base worldwide. A staff of 30 employees now manage the design, marketing, sale and delivery of more than 1,500 products, including own brand wooden and plush toys, children’s room accessories and a number of products from distributor brands.
Commenting on the company’s plans for the next 30 years, Liz Ireland said the firm's goal is: "to continue doing a good job and support the independent retail sector – in products, price, quality and service.”
