The Lumination Suspended LED Luminaire opens the door to a world of decorative potential by delivering remarkable light output in a low-profile, provocative design. A clear, narrow band surrounds the edge of the fixture, making the light source appear to 'float' in the center of the luminaire. When illuminated, it produces a perfectly even glow. While off, it is nearly transparent.
GE's LED suspended fixture gives architects and lighting designers a new option for creating truly inspired ceilings.

At the LIGHTFAIR conference in May, GE's Lumination Suspended LED Luminaire was recognized in the Next Generation Luminaires™ 2012 Indoor Competition (Linear Pendant Lighting Category) where judges appreciated its "beautiful uplight" and "sleek modern style" combining direct and indirect lighting in one highly efficient, translucent LED luminaire.
Most recently, it was named a 2012 Product Innovation Award winner by Architectural Products magazine.

Designed with environmental impact in mind, the Lumination LED Suspended Luminaire is a GE ecomagination product meeting stringent standards for efficiency. Its 50,000-hour rated life eliminates bulb changes associated with fluorescent tubes and it contains no lead, mercury or glass, making handling and disposal less of a concern. The luminaire is UL Listed and has an ultra-light aluminum frame.
