North American firm Caraustar Industries has announced a price increase on all paper tube and core product lines.
According to the company, the 5% increase will be effective with shipments beginning 1 August 2013.
The company decided to increase the prices in response to increases in recycled paperboard prices and other external costs.
Caraustar Industries manufactures 100% recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products.
The company serves the four principal recycled boxboard product end-use markets: tubes and cores; folding cartons; gypsum facing paper and specialty paperboard products.
