Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation is planning to soon restart its Kashima, Japan-based No. 2 naphtha cracker following maintenance turnaround.
“The cracker is planned to be restarted on October 17, 2013,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The No. 2 naphtha cracker, with ethylene production capacity of 489,000 mt/year, was shut for maintenance on August 26 this year.
