The latest country to announce that it will be rolling out smart meters is Australia.The news will be announced today by the Australian government,with the aim of reducing energy bills.
Speaking about the announcement,Australian Energy Minister Martin Ferguson commented:"If we are to provide consumers with more choice then we also need to promote better information through tools,like smart meters."
