Illumicare Group, an innovator of high-efficiency outdoor LED lighting technology, has now unveiled its 15-W equivalent LED G4 bi-pin lamp having a rotatable pin base.

The wafer-style LED G4 bi-pin lamps of Illumicare have been specially designed for deck lighting as well as for outdoor niche applications that require directional and diminutive lamps. These novel lamps are capable of delivering surpassed light output with operating temperatures less than the heat specifications of several contemporary LED chips, even when being sealed within the weatherproof fixtures.

Outdoor deck and niche fixtures provide minimal clearance for positioning or integrating bulbs in landscape lighting designs. The novel Q15 G4 bi-pin halogen bulbs are commonly used to occupy the compact space of these fixtures. The recently launched wafer-style LED lamps ensure compact size delivering high efficiency light output, but incorrect positioning of fixture sockets will lead to dissipation of directional illumination.

The LED G4 bi-pin lamps (LED BP SIDE) of Illumicare deliver 45-degree vertical rotation of the bi-pin base. It is the unique wafer-style LED lamp at present that can adapt with all socket orientations. Typical halogen Q10, Q15 and Q20 bulb can be effectively replaced with the LED BP SIDE lamp. It is capable of operating below 40°C. It generates light from 120 to 130 lm in a halogen equivalent (3000 K) color temperature. All the LED BP SIDE bi-pin lamps of Illumicare ensure 35,000-hours of service rating.

Similar to miniatures lamps and MR16, the features of Illumicare’s rotatable base G4 bi-pin lamps include color temperatures to deliver natural ambience, thereby improving plant materials; simple drop-in replacement of ineffective incandescent and halogen lamps; and completely-sealed enclosure for keeping the LED chips safe from the impact of moisture.
